I can't imagine that the summer months are very nearly here yet again!  This ensures that I will be excited to dust off my snorkeling equipment and hit the lake soon.  I cannot wait!  After getting my first taste of scuba diving last year I completely fell in love with it.  I really like swimming to begin with and now being able to observe all the marine life while in the lakes and oceans will make it much more exciting!  The one particular item of equipment that I was missing last year was a suitable underwater digital camera.  I only had with me a really cheap camera that I placed in a waterproof housing though the pictures left a lot to be desired.  Well that is not going to happen again this coming year.  I am fully in a position to capture my memories with my new Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS2.

Why did I decide on this camera?  Well for starters, a friend of mine has this first class waterproof camera and loves it!  I have witnessed the pictures it takes and they are amazingly clear and vibrant.  I also wanted the capability to capture videos using it's hd recording abilities.  The camera is solidly constructed and appears like it could handle just about any condition you throw at it.  You can surely rest easy even if your children use it and accidentally drop it, these shockproof cameras can take a beating without breaking a sweat.

Well, enough talk - it is time to plan my next trip.  I can't wait to try out my new camera!
