What is the best mixer with effects for Podcasting?

I want to start podcasting with an AKG Perception 100 Condenser Microphone on my computer. What is the best small and basic mixing board that I can connect to this microphone that will allow me to do effects as well?

For a cheap mixing board (with DSP) and can act as a recording interface (via USB), i would go with this:
It's about $150 and has effects built in. You're not gonna recreate a convincing Abbey Road on this thing..but for spoken word, it will be more than adequate.
Also-Purchase or create (they're easy to build via a coathanger and pantyhose) a pop filter for that AKG to prevent from destroying it. It will also allow you to maintain a more usable recording level when you control plosives.
