How I discovered The Finest Mineral Makeup

Within the last several years mineral makeup has become the buzz word in the Cosmetics World. However I discovered mineral makeup well before those late night Television commercials let us all know it existed

Back in in 1997 I visited the Miami State Fair and discovered a booth which was giving visitors a cost-free two minute makeover.

The Consultant invited me to test their brand new all-in-one mineral makeup called Beauty Glow on the back of my hand to find out how silky smooth it felt and how naturally it appeared I turned down the offer but my great friend Carla said she’d be happy to try it out.

The Consultant told us not to be concerned about the color that we saw in the compact because that one color suited all skin tones from dark to fair as amazing as it seemed. Give it a try the proof that it works is there for all to see.

My pal Carla who is game for anything and always up for a challenge decided she would take up the offer and see if it worked for her.

The very first thing the Consultant did was to remove the makeup Carla was wearing. She explained that the idea of wearing Beauty Glow is not to look as though you are wearing makeup instead to be complimented on how beautiful skin your skin looks. She explaind to Carla Mineral Makeup unlike liquid foundations lays on the surface of your skin, so it never cakes or clogs your pores.

Within a matter of minutes Carla was transformed. She looked positivley radient her skin without a doubt looked looked natural and healthy.

After removing Carla's old liquid foundation Lois the 'Makeup Consultant' applies a powder brush full to her face explaining less is best. One brush full starting a your forehead and working your way down your face was all you needed as a foundation.

She then gave the brush a quick sweep over the mineral makeup compact and gave Carla just the right amount of color in her cheeks, then with an eye shadow brush she applied her eye shadow all out of the same compact.

Now my friend Carle is from Brazil and has a wonderful South American complexion, unlike me who is of Irish desent

I was asked by the sales lady if I wanted to give it a try. I explained that have an extremely fair complexion and I also have freckles and my skin is very sensitive where as Carla is from Brazil and has an olive complexion and I could not imagine it would ever work the same way for me.

By now a little crowed had formed around us and everyone including Carla were cajoling me to “give it a go” so even though skeptical I sat down in the chair to find out if the very same makeup would work for me.

Much to my amazement the results were perfect and just like the name implied gave me a natural beautiful healthy glow I really like the way I looked and unlike my regular makeup it didn’t feel heavy. Needless to say I was sold so was Carla and the ladies watching were fighting to be next to try it out.

A compact costs me around about $30.00 and last a good year. I have bought a compact at the fair every year for the last ten years and tell all my friends and the people I meet that compliment me how great my skin looks to forget the TV celebrity mineral makeup’s and get Beauty Glow.

I moved from Washington so I no longer get to the fair now I buy my Beauty Glow online along with a new product they sell which I buy for my daughter who suffers terrible roseacea. It’s called Natural Concealment she uses it with Beauty Glow and the two together work miracles for her in fact her roseacea has improved dramatically. .
